Keynote topics.

These are the three topics I speak on most at the moment. Each one is also available as a training day or a programme, if you want to keep practising after the keynote.

Leading Thinking

Why facts don't settle disagreements and how a leader gets people to see the same direction. A volunteer talks about their work for one minute, and I tell the room what I heard.

Leadership days and managers

Cool Head

Mental resilience in uncertain times: why stress doesn't end when the situation ends, and how to get judgement back under pressure.

Staff days, wellbeing at work

Thinking in the Age of AI

How to keep your own thinking sharp when the machine answers faster than you can think. The room estimates a number before and after seeing the AI's answer.

All staff, kickoffs

Other topics

Thinking about thinking

Metacognition at work. How to notice your own thinking before it has already decided the matter.

All staff

Change that lasts

Why a good plan doesn't turn into everyday practice and what a manager can do about it.

Leaders and managers

The mind of sales

How the buyer thinks and in what state of mind the seller succeeds. Including the line where influence turns into pressure.

Sales teams

How top performers think

What the best do differently in their heads. Based on work with elite athletes, special forces soldiers and leaders.

Experts and leaders

Think differently

Creativity as a skill, and ways to get stuck thinking moving again.

Product development and leadership

In the room

First we try it, then I explain.

The audience tries the effect for themselves first, and only then do I explain what happened. An experience stays in mind better than a slide. Cool Head, for example, starts with everyone thinking for a moment about an email they don't want to open on Monday and noticing the reaction in their own body.

I use a lot of humour and stories. Even a heavy subject can be talked about in a way that keeps people listening. The content is always fitted to the event: before the keynote we go through the audience, the goal of the event and what is going on in the organisation right now.

As a trainer, Ilkka Rajala has my full trust because of his professional skill and his warmth with people. I'm happy to recommend him even to my closest friends. (Translated from Finnish.)

When you want to continue from the keynote into your own situations. The same topic, more practice.

from €5,700

If you're not satisfied with the keynote, I won't invoice you.

Frequently asked about booking a speaker.

How much does it cost to book a speaker?
Keynotes start at €2,500 + VAT. I'll give you the exact price once I know the length and location of the event.
What is a keynote?
The main talk of an event, which sets the theme for the day. It usually lasts 45–60 minutes, and in my keynotes the audience does a couple of short exercises.
Can the keynote be given in English?
Yes. I have given dozens of trainings in English, and all topics are available in English.
Is the content tailored to our event?
Always. Before the event I ask who will be in the room and what you want the event to achieve, and I build the examples around that.
Do you speak about wellbeing at work?
Yes. Cool Head deals with stress, worry and recovery in everyday work. It suits a staff day with a theme of wellbeing or resilience.
How early should we book a speaker?
The earlier you ask, the more likely the date is free. Do ask at short notice as well.

Ask about available dates. I'll tell you which topic suits your event.
